Founded in 2019, Madon Sheet Metal is a union sheet metal fabrication shop just outside of Chicago in Palatine, Illinois. We specialize in roof curbs, curb adapters, TIG welded stainless duct and black iron grease duct but we also fabricate whatever our customers need. Whether it’s a custom cart, ink drum mixer, HVAC equipment support rail, or something entirely new, our team has the hands-on experience to make it happen.
We’re a family-owned business grounded in craftsmanship, continuous learning, and real-world problem solving. Every product is built to spec, every order is delivered on time, and every challenge is met with practical expertise. My grandfather Jim Madon (1926-2004) was a World War II Veteran, D-Day survivor, tough as nails, White Sox die-hard, avid Musky Fisherman, and Sheet Metal Worker. He spent 26 years with Local 73 at Ernie DeLord’s Palomar as a Welder, Fabricator, and Shop Steward. Jim was a trustworthy, smart, quick-witted, strong, and no bulls***; and having the opportunity in my career to work with some of the people that worked alongside him has been an incredible experience. As a third-generation Sheet Metal Worker I am proud to call our company Madon Sheet Metal after him. Our promise is to do our best to live up to the name we proudly print on each one of the custom fabricated items that leave our shop. This trade is in our blood. Chicago Proud and Union Sealed.
